Apprentice FCL Operator
Location: CM9 4LQ – Maldon
Annual Wage: £10,296
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Working Week: Monday – Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pm
Job Description:
Desk based office position, dealing with customers and suppliers to arrange container shipments to worldwide destinations.
What will you be doing?
- The role will be to help the existing staff to manage the incoming orders, and handle the shipments through to completion
- The tasks involve speaking with internal departments to collate details so the customer’s order can be made, and also dealing with external suppliers who will complete the order
- Main duties will include arranging Customs clearances, and accommodating customers with any queries and assistance they require for their orders
- A range of communication involving telephone calls, emails, and internal messaging services will be used
What training and qualification will you receive?
- TheLightBulb will deliver the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
- You will need to attend workshops remotely via Zoom
- You will have a Mentor who will work with you on a one to one basis
- In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role

Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 9-4) essential
