TheLightBulb have been informed that Ofsted will be inspecting the quality of services provided by ourselves to all our employers and learners during next week 18/08/2014 to 22/08/2014.
As part of this inspection visit they wish to speak with employers and learners who are taking part in our funded programmes. As such a member of our team may be contacting you or if you are employed your employer in the next 24 hours to arrange a visit by an inspector to your premises or to arrange for a phone interview. If for any reason you feel that this would not be appropriate due to holidays or business constraints then please contact the office as soon as possible and we will try to ensure that you are not included.
This is an ideal opportunity for you to communicate with the government Inspectors about the service offered by TheLightBulb and we would be very grateful for your support.
The inspectors will be looking at how we have supported you and the quality of your experience with ourselves, they will not be judging you as a learner or the work that you do. They will focus in their interview on the quality of learning, training and assessment, the standards achieved by learners, value for money in the process and thereby make recommendations contributing to the continuous improvement of provision.
Ofsted have asked our clients to offer their compliments or concerns about our service on a specific website which is www.learnerview.ofsted.gov.uk where you will have to provide your email address and will then be sent instructions on what to do next.
If you have any queries or concerns, please contact either Lesley Jones, Suzanne Tilling or another member of TheLightBulb team on 01268 270648.
