Admin Apprentice – Basildon

Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at TheLightbulb. We are looking for a confident professional who will be primarily first point of contact. You will also be supporting the team with general administration duties.

What will you be doing:

  • Front of house, meeting and greeting visitors to the office
  • Ensuring that signing in procedures are followed
  • Answering the telephone and making sure that it is directed to the appropriate colleague
  • Dealing with the post. Incoming and outgoing
  • Supporting team members with admin tasks
  • Working with the team at the end of day to ensure the office is closed following procedures

What training will you take and what qualification will you get at the end:

  • TheLightBulb will deliver the Level 2 Customer Service Standard
  • You will need to attend 4 workshops remotely via Zoom
  • You will complete Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
  • 20% off the job training will be included
  • In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role


  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) desirable
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C) desirable
