Apprentice Service Advisor
Location: SS13 1EY – Basildon
Weekly Wage: £7.49 per hour
Working Week: Monday – Friday – 8:30am – 17:30
Job Description:
There is an opportunity for somebody with the right calibre to join MotorAid Ltd as a Trainee Service Advisor. Primarily you will be trained to deal with all of our commercial’s customer operating vans and trucks.
What will you be doing?
- Assists assigned technician as needed
- Picks up parts from the parts department as directed by technicians
- Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance and minor repairs as directed
- Replenishes consumable supplies as requested by mentor technician or workshop foreman
- Attends training classes and departmental meetings
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Work alongside Mentor Technician to help complete all compliance paperwork
- General cleaning duties
What training and qualification will you receive?
- TheLightBulb will deliver the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
- You will need to attend workshops remotely via Zoom
- You will have a Mentor who will work with you on a one to one basis
- In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role

Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 9-4) desirable
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 9-4) desirable
