This Apprenticeship is intended to attract new talent into a career in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or to help up skill the existing workforce.  If this apprenticeship is chosen learners will be able to build on their interest in, and commitment to, working with children and/or young people.  They will also develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to support children and young people to gain the best start in life and provide them with a safe and secure environment.

If this apprenticeship is chosen the learner will be able to build on their interest in, and commitment to, working with children and/or young people. Learners will also develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to support children and young people to gain the best start in life and provide them with a safe and secure environment. For an advanced apprentice these skills could involve competence in a specialist area and/ or across a varied range of responsibilities.
