TheLightBulb are in the Press!

The Echo ran a feature on Wednesday 11th April 2012 highlighting the launch of TheLightBulbs Customer Service programme for jobseekers throughout the Basildon Area.

Lesley Jones, managing director and founder of TheLightBulb is quoted as saying " for the people on the course, this is like a job - they have to arrive on time, they have to attend each session and they have to behave like they would in a workplace, so its good preparation.  We dont just want them to get a job we want them to keep it.  The olderst of the 13 people on this first course is in her fifties and the youngest is 19 so we've got a real range of people onthe course and They'reall learning from each other's experiences and picking up advice from one another"

One of the learners featured in the article, Linda Levy from Benfleet said "I didnt realise my confidene was so low, but I'm feeling more confident already since the course started.  I needed help writing a CV and perpareing for interviews, so the course should really help".
