Once more TheLightBulb are in the local press!

Once more TheLightBulb are in the local press! Simon Pitts attended our Employability and Customer Service course in June 2012 and since then he has been employed by TheLightBulb as the Apprentice Co-Ordinator, helping young people prepare for their future. 

Simon previously worked in a factory but quickly realised that the job was not for him.  It was his JobCentre plus advisor who referred him onto our course and changed the direction of his life.  Simon adds “When the opportunity to do a course in customer service came up, I jumped at it.  I’ve always enjoyed working with people.” 

Due to Simon’s personality and enthusiasm he stood out during the course, so much so that the trainer recommended him to the Apprentice Team Leader, Andrea Gregory, who was seeking to recruit someone to support her.  Andrea says “His keenness and personality proved he really wanted to show he could do the work.”  During his time with us he has grown from strength to strength and now is Andrea’s right hand man.
