MP Iain Duncan Smith meets TheLightBulb

Friday 13th maybe unlucky for some, however for TheLightBulb it was a very lucky day as we had the privilege of meeting MP Iain Duncan Smith, Secretary of State for the Department of Work and Pensions.

Mr Duncan Smith spoke to four of our learners Alison Drummond, Simon Pitts, Albert Barnard and Esau Mlunjwana.  He wanted to know how long they had been unemployed, what jobs they were looking to do and if they enjoyed their course at TheLightBulb.

Our learners really enjoyed meeting him; one told him that by attending the course at TheLightBulb has changed his life forever!

MP Iain Duncan Smith was very impressed with the comments given and told Managing Director Lesley Jones that she must be very proud of the achievements people have made by attending the courses we provide.
